Ben Einereleased yesterday a new print titled “Camouflage” via Lazarides Gallery in London.
“camouflage” is an eight-colour woodcut carved into six different blocks: two walnut grains, two from maple wood, and two of English oak. These were individually coloured and applied to a red hand-painted background on traditional Japanese paper. The complex final blue layer took the form of a photopolymer flexi plate.
It’s an edition of 25, measures 98cm x 93cm and it comes signed and numbered by the artist.
