Urban Pill

Beautiful New Wall by Strøk In Porsgrunn, Norway

Inspired by film, photography, art, animation, urban decay, things and situations he casually witness on the street creates the Norwegian stencil artist  Anders Gjennestad (also known as Strøk) photorealistic images with such depth and detail that is both complex, tactile and mentally engaging.

Gjennstad’s paintings are based on the artist’s own photographs. Snapshots of people who do not know they have been photographed. Always trying to capture and freeze motion leaving to the viewer to imagine what will happen next.
