Zilda takes Pasolini to the streets of Rome

Zilda-passolini-roma-urbanpill-1Zilda was recently in Rome where he created this new and singular piece inspired by the genius of Pier Paolo Pasolini and his “Il Fiore Delle Mille e Una Notte” or “Arabian Nights” (1974).

As the artist mentions in an interview with Arrested Motion a couple of years ago his work is based on a mythological, literary and pictorial iconographic corpus and pays tribute to many illustrators that history unfairly forgot. In occasions founding myths to interact with our puritanical contemporariness, like with this new piece.
