German artist Herbert Jens ‘Tasso’ Müller has just completed this huge new mural in Hof, Germany.
Tasso, known for being one of the pioneers of photorealistic mural art is currently in town for the new “Graffiti Realism” exhibition at Galeriehaus Hof.
Although his paintings are photorealistic, they never show just the mere reality. They usually tell a story that Tasso, however, like to keep for himself leaving it up to the viewers to make their own associations and conclusions. his work is often charged with a healthy dose of irony and never flat or superficial. Always addressing a message to the viewer, the images are both enigmatic and ambiguous.
